There are two types of jobs offered by Cognizant for Freshers –

  • Programmer Analyst Trainee
  • Analyst Trainee

We will discuss both of them in this post.

Cognizant Recruitment Drive for Programmer Analyst Trainee 2018

Selection Criteria

  • The applicant must have his education in inimum 10+2+4 years of education (All in full time).
  • 2016, 2017 and 2018 batch pass outs in BE/ B.Tech – All streams except bio-related courses, PG not eligible.
  • Student must have 60% across 10th , 12th & Under Graduation (Full time/Regular courses).
  • The application must be willing to work in 24/7 Shifts & any Cognizant location.
  • The applicant should be an Indian Citizen.
  • 2016, 2017 and 2018 Batch candidates with provisional/convocation degree certificate, all education documents, PAN Card & passport are only eligible to participate.

Job Role

  • Responsible for developing defect free, best in class code using one or more programming/scripting languages with ability to apply continuous integration techniques to build software products and deliver business solutions.
  • Have good understanding on data structures, algorithms, design patterns, cloud basics and other technical concepts
  • Be a strong team player and collaborate to ensure success of the team.
  • Display excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Manage multiple project and personal priorities simultaneously.

How to Prepare for CTS Recruitment Drive 2018

  1. Salary – Rs. 3,38,000 
  2. Bond Duration – 1 Year
  3. Salary per month (after Tax etc) –
    1. Training Time – Rs. 19,550
    2. Post Training – Rs.22,668 (Bonus, every 6 months 10,000 – 20,000)

We suggest for Engineering Branches that students must choose computer programming(If they want to apply for IT jobs in companies like Accenture, Zs Associates, mPhasis etc.

  • For CSE and IT – Computer Programming and Computer Science.
  • For ECE – Telecommunication, Electronics and Semiconductors + Computer Programming
  • For EEE – Electrical Engineering + Computer Programming. Can also give Electronics and Semiconductors if confident.
  • For Mech – Mechanical Engineering + Computer Programming. Can also give Metallurgical Engineering if confident.
  • For Chemical – Chemical Engineering + Computer Programming. Can also give any one of paint, polymer, chemistry if confident.
  • Civil Engineering – Civil Engineering + Computer Programming.

There is additional 2nd round after this
